12.6.2007 There was held a German-Belarusian contacts’ exchange on June 6-7 in Grodno. The subject of the event was Innovation technologies in chemical, building, food and other branches of industry’.          The organizers of the contacts’ exchange were the Association of German industrial and research societies named after Otto von Gerike (AiF) and the state institution ‘The administration of the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”’ under the auspices of the Grodno region Executive Committee, German Economics Representation in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the State Science and Technology Committee of the Republic of Belarus        In the course of the contacts’ exchange there were held individual negotiations between German and Belarusian participants/ the talks also touched upon the projects’ financial support program PROINNO II and Belarusian market environment.        The participants of the contacts’ exchange got acquainted with the free economic zone ‘Grodnoinvest’ territory Grandichy as well as with several resident-enterprises: open joint-stock company ‘Edem’, closed corporation ‘Bigan’, industrial research centre of ‘Belkard’ JSC.        The guests made a tour of the city and a boat trip along the Avgustovsky Channel.
