There was held a German-Belarusian contacts’ exchange on June 6-7 in Grodno. The subject of the event was Innovation technologies in chemical, building, food and other branches of industry’. |

The organizers of the contacts’ exchange were the Association of German industrial and research societies named after Otto von Gerike (AiF) and the state institution ‘The administration of the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”’ under the auspices of the Grodno region Executive Committee, German Economics Representation in the Republic of Belarus, as well as the State Science and Technology Committee of the Republic of Belarus
In the course of the contacts’ exchange there were held individual negotiations between German and Belarusian participants/ the talks also touched upon the projects’ financial support program PROINNO II and Belarusian market environment.
The participants of the contacts’ exchange got acquainted with the free economic zone ‘Grodnoinvest’ territory Grandichy as well as with several resident-enterprises: open joint-stock company ‘Edem’, closed corporation ‘Bigan’, industrial research centre of ‘Belkard’ JSC.
The guests made a tour of the city and a boat trip along the Avgustovsky Channel.

Under Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus #275 of 14.06.2007 and subsequent to the results of the republican contest “The Best Entrepreneur of the Year 2006” for high achievements in the field of financial and economic activity FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident-enterprises were declared:
- winner in the nomination “The Best Organization with Foreign Investments” - Foreign enterprise “Top Comfort” Ltd.;
- laureate in the nomination “The Best Entrepreneur in the Sphere of Consumer Goods Production” - Joint enterprise “Zov-LenEVROMEBEL” ltd.
