(according to the Land Code of the Republic of Belarus of January 1, 2009 and Amendments to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus “About final land allocation” #667 entering into force from May 1, 2009)
Beginning from May 1, 2009 legal bodies and individual entrepreneurs are able to receive land plots for business without holding of an auction:
- for farming;
- for construction and maintenance of objects of transport and engineering infrastructure;
- for mining operations of widespread mineral deposits;
- for project construction and maintenance of immovable property items in the free economic zones (only for FEZ residents);
- for project construction and maintenance of immovable property items meant for products manufacturing, work delivery, rendering of services (except for the construction and maintenance of such objects as specified in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus #1 of January 28, 2008);
- for acquisition of assets in progress according to the decision of assets alienation by the President of the Republic of Belarus;
- for allocation of immovable property items, provided that their construction is determined by the decision of the President of the Republic of Belarus or by the program approved by the Council of Ministers.
