The foreign enterprise “GrodGalvanicaBel” will implement the investment project “construction of production for protection against corrosion of metal constructions using the method of hot galvanizing”.

Chief executives and specialists of Lida District Executive Committee, managers of enterprises and organizations, representatives of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” participated in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting got acquainted with legal conditions of business activity in FEZ “Grodnoinvest”, considered the issues concerning registration of FEZ residents, visited land plots and production premises of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” in Lida and Lida region with the view to implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus #134 of March 17, 2009 “On the Introduction of Amendments and Additions to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 16, 2002 #208”.
According to the results of the meeting the potential residents announced their intention to implement the following investment projects: production of corrugated cardboard package, railway coach manufacturing, production of optical instruments, machine manufacturing, and others.

The results for the city contest “The best Entrepreneur 2008” were summarized in Grodno on March 23, 2009. The resident-companies of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” became the contest winners in the following categories:
- Foreign enterprise "Top Comfort" Ltd. is the best entrepreneur in the category of consumer goods production;
- Foreign private unitary enterprise "Terrazyt Plus – Windows and Doors" is the best entrepreneur with foreign investments;
- "Biokom" ltd - is the best entrepreneur for creating new jobs.
The following FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident-companies became the award winners of the contest:
- Open joint-stock company “Grodnorajagroservis” in the category of industrial goods manufacturing;
- Manufacturing company "Mercury" Ltd. for creating new jobs;
- Research-and-production cooperative "Navigator" in the category of industrial goods production.
