Starting from the 1st of February 2009 state registration of business entities is carried out within one day. On February 2, 2009 according to the new rules there were submitted 55 applications for state registration of business entities in Grodno region and 28 business entities were registered in Grodno. The same number of applications was submitted within a week before the introduction of the declarative principle of state registration. |

The representatives of Polish mass media are visiting the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” within the frameworks of their press-tour to Grodno region on February 17, 2009. The purpose of their visit is to get acquainted with legal conditions of business activity in FEZ “Grodnoinvest” and work experience of FEZ resident enterprises. In the course of the event it is planned to visit FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident-enterprises (CJSC “Bigan” JV, “Kwinfood” Ltd., Joint enterprise "Zov-LenEVROMEBEL" ltd.) and free land plots with complete transport and engineering infrastructure. |

On February 19, 2009 within the framework of the working trip to Grodno region Andrey Kobiakov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, visited the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”. In the course of the trip program the Deputy Prime Minister familiarized with the business activity and production process of the following resident enterprises of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”: JV CJSC “Bigan”, Joint enterprise "Zov-LenEVROMEBEL" Ltd., Joint enterprise "Elefant and co" Ltd., “Biokom” Ltd. There were discussed the problems of companies operation under the conditions of the global financial crisis.
