“Bigan” JSC, FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident, is the only manufacturer of plastic multi-layered sausage casing in Belarus. At the moment 62 people work at this enterprise.
The casing produced by “Bigan” consists of 95% of domestic raw materials delivered by “Grodno Khimvolokno” JSC and “Polimir” JSC.   It is planned to use 100% of Belarusian raw materials which are  15-20% cheaper than imported ones.
Nowadays multi-layered sausage casing produced in Grodno is used at 60 food industry enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. The production of “Bigan” JSC is exported to Poland and Lithuania. It is also planned to tap the markets of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and to provide these markets with new goods, such as multi-layered smoke-transmitting casing.

12. "Kwinfood" Ltd. - meat sauces; 13. Research-and-production cooperative "Navigator" – detergents;

14. Manufacturing company "Mercury" Ltd. - central heating boilers.

The volume of import-substitution goods manufactured by FEZ “Grodnoinvest” residents in 2008 reached 87.3 billion rubles or 14,1% of total production output of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”. The supply of import-substitution goods for domestic market assists to the reduction of import, economy of foreign currency, growth of competitive industrial production.
