On March 2, 2010 the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” was visited by a foreign company interested in implementation of investment projects in the territory of FEZ in such areas as:
- chemical industry;
- energy;
- logistics.
The representatives of the foreign company familiarized with the presentation of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” and learned about the opportunities for the implementation of above mentioned investment projects on FEZ “Grodnoinvest” land-plots.

The implementation of an investment project on creation of a wind farm in the Grodno region was under negotiation. The visit resulted in signing a letter of intent.

The Project Agreement on the Free (Special) Economic Zones within the Customs Territory of the Customs Union and Customs Procedures in the Free Customs Zones was under the consideration. |

On March 31, 2010 the company “FerrumMontage” Ltd was registered as a FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident. “FerrumMontage” Ltd (Belarus) is going to implement an investment project “Setup for production of energy-efficient engineering utilities and structures”. |

The realization of the project in FEZ “Grodnoinvest” will allow the company to apply modern manufacturing equipment and launch new types of metal constructions and engineering utilities that are included in The List of Import-Substitution Goods of FEZ Residents, as well as to create 45 new working places.
