The ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Belarus Mr. George Krol and his entourage visited the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” May 16, 2006. |

During the meeting with the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” the American diplomats got acquainted with the zone’s functioning experience. There were also discussed possibilities for American businessmen’s participation in implementation of investment projects within the boundaries of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.
In the course of the meeting the Ambassador of the United States of America visited 2 resident-enterprises of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”: closed Belarusian-American enterprise “Bigan” and limited Belarusian-Polish enterprise “Kwinfood”.

May 17, 2006 the Committee on the Rise of Competitive Capacity of Economy considered and approved of two investment projects presented by the administration of the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” |

“Expansion and modernization of production on mobile metalworking machines” (closed company “Scientific Production Association “Vector”), “Creation of an enterprise majoring in manufacture of wooden small architectural forms and improvements” (foreign limited company “DGH-Sad”).
The Commission’s favorable report allows to register the enterprises implementing these projects as FEZ “Grodnoinvest” residents. |
