2.9.2005 Mr. Kshystov Majhrovsky, the director of a regional office from the city of Belostok (the Republic of Poland), came on for a visit to Grodno August 24-25, 2005.   In the course of the visit talks on mutual cooperation were carried on with the management of the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” and an Intentions’ Protocol was signed. 2.9.2005 FEZ “Grodnoinvest” residents will take part in the 7th Multi-purpose Fair “Euroregion “Neman” in Grodno October 6-8, 2005.   2.9.2005 The 1st Belarusian-Russian economic forum will be held in the National Exposition Centre in Minsk September 6-9, 2005.   In the framework of the forum a conference on “Development of the Investment Cooperation between Russia and Belarus” with the participation of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” representatives will take place. 2.9.2005 A business meeting with the Russian and Belarusian business circles’ representatives will take place in Saint-Petersburg September 13-17, 2005.   In the framework of the meeting a FEZ “Grodnoinvest” presentation will be held. 2.9.2005 The International Food Fair “Polagra-Food” and the International packing and logistics technique Salon will be held September 20-23, 2005.   FEZ “Grodnoinvest” residents will also take part in the Fair and the Salon. 2.9.2005 The administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” and the enterprises-residents of FEZ are working on preparation for the participation in the 4th National Exhibition “BelExpo”,   which will take place at the beginning of October of the current year in Vilnus. 2.9.2005 From 1 till 5 of November the Novgorod exhibition will take place. The exhibition has universal character.   7.9.2005 FEZ “Grodnoinvest” management met the Lithuanian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary – Mr. Petras Vajtekunas September 6, 2005.   In the course of the meeting there were discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between Lithuania and Grodno region, in particular, issues on attracting foreign (Lithuanian) investments. The Lithuanian delegation visited FEZ “Grodnoinvest” resident-enterprises with Lithuanian capital. They also familiarized with production technologies, export deliveries’ geography, assortment of the production put out and development perspectives of the enterprises. Besides, they examined ground areas waiting for new resident-enterprises to be built. The delegation also visited a range of other resident-enterprises situated on the territory of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”. 16.9.2005 On September, 15 2005 German company “DGH” conducted the negotiations with the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.   During the talks such questions as possibilities of setting up a manufacture in FEZ majoring in the production of woodwork for gardens were discussed. 19.9.2005 The Polish firm “NTB”, that has experience in the European market, expressed its willingness to realize an investment project on heat-insulated materials production within FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.   The firm’s representatives are expected to visit Grodno this week to discuss issues on the future enterprise foundation and state registration. They also plan to talk over the preparation of the constituent documents for the enterprise registration as a FEZ resident.
