From April 27-30, 2005 the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in Warsaw took place. |

Within the frames of that exhibition XI Byelorussian-Polish economics forum "Dobrososedstwo 2005" was held. Delegation of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" under the direction of the head of the administration Mr. Sergej Tkachenko participated in it.
At the first day of the exhibition the negotiations were conducted with the managing board of one Polish company. Polish partners are interested in the manufacture of polymer materials for isolation of steam conduits and piping of heating networks in Grodno.
On April, 28, 2005 presentation of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" for the representatives of Polish business circles on the basis of sports recreational hotel compound was conducted.
Polish company -chemical plant - a manufacture of building materials (dry mixtures of plaster, glues, paints, assembly foams, heat-insulated materials) is ready to start building an enterprise on manufacture of glues and heat-isolated materials for building sector. Realization of that investment project will be carried out within the boundaries of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” together with public corporation “Grodno plant of building materials”.
On April 27-28, 2005 negotiations with the British insurance company were conducted in Warsaw. The management Board of the company is planning to open a representative office in Grodno with the purpose of the preparation of information for the British companies which are planning to invest in Byelorussian economy.
During the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus in Warsaw business talks with the representatives of one German company. Realization of an investment project “Production of high quality fuel for diesel engines from the by products of all kings of manufacture and reproductive raw materials” was discussed. As a result of the negotiations with director of Warsaw plant of medicinal herbs a question of setting up an analogous enterprise in Grodno was discussed.
On April, 29, 2005 there was a meeting of the head of the administration with the Byelorussian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Warsaw Mr. Pavel Latushko and General Counselor of the Republic of Belarus in Białystok Mr. Leonid Korovajko.

On May, 3, 2005 the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” conducted registration of a joint venture “Vines of Moravii” Ltd. |

Its main field of business is manufacture of grape vines. From the Byelorussian side unitary enterprise “Grodnopisheprom” acted as one of its participants. |

On May, 6, 2005 the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” registered a foreign enterprise with 100 % Danish capital “Euro-Auto Renovation”. |

Its main field of activity is – renovation and technical maintenance of cars. A package of documents for the registration as a resident of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” is being prepared at present time. |

On May, 16-17, 2005 delegations of the Polish companies «Gedat» Sp.z.o.o. and «Doradon» will visit the administration of free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”. |

On May, 17, 2005 the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” will host a meeting-seminar “Management accounts and budgeting” with the chiefs of the enterprises-residents. |

Specialists from the group of companies “Jupiter” and the society with the additional responsibility “Jukola-Info-Systems” will conduct the seminar. The participants of the seminar will get to know with the theory and get practical fundamentals in the field of strategic management, description and optimization of business processes, management accounts and budgeting. |

On May, 25-27, 2005 representatives of the German company “NOVOINVEST”: financial director Mr. Hartmut Schwarz and senior consultant Mr. Rainer Lange visited free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”. |

During the visit the negotiations were conducted on setting enterprises with the participation of the German capital on manufacture of diesel fuel from waste products, aerosol balloons and industrial aquariums and further registration as a resident of free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”. The delegation was received by the deputy of Grodno executive committee A.M. Radevich.
Creation of a German technological park in Grodno was also discussed with the representatives of scientific and business circles. |
