9.12.2005 A delegation of the German firm “Fey & Co” visited the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” December 7, 2005.   The delegation was headed by the firm’s director Johannes Brinkmann. In the course of negotiations there were discussed issues on creation of a German enterprise in FEZ “Grodnoinvest”. Their next visit is expected in January next year. 19.12.2005 On December, 9 the commission on improving competitive ability of the economy made a positive decision ...   on an investment project of the public corporation "Grodno plant of building materials" "Reconstruction of the manufacture of cellular concrete". Such a decision of the commission is a reason for the registration of the company as a resident of the free economic zone "Grodnoinvest". 20.12.2005 On December, 14 the commission on improving competitive ability of the economy approved of an investment project   of Grodno republican unitary enterprise "Gronitex" "Technical reequipment of the manufacture of cotton and blending yarn". 20.12.2005 On December, 19 the negotiations with ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Israel in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Zeev Ben Arie and an accompanying delegation were conducted.   In the course of the talks the questions of possible participation of Israeli business in the investment activity in FEZ “Grodnoinvest” were discussed. The diplomats visited one of the enterprises-residents of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” “ZHOV-PLITA” Ltd. and got acquainted with the conditions of its managing activity and prospectives of the development. 20.12.2005 On December, 19 a delegation of a German company visited the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”.   In the course of the negotiations questions on setting up a company majoring in manufacture of gypsum plasterboards and its later registration as a resident of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” were discussed. 20.12.2005 From 18 till 22 December, 2005 the representatives of the administration of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" being part of a delegation from Grodno province will take part   in II Forum of international cooperation "Belarus-Moscow" in the town of Moscow (Russian Federation). A presentation of the free economic zone "Grodnoinvest" and participation in round-table talks on the attraction of Russian business into the investment activity in FEZ are planned. 23.12.2005 19-22 December chief of the department of investment and foreign economic activity S.Sergejchik participated in II forum of business cooperation "Belarus-Moscow". In labour and creation together!"   On December, 19 2005 within the frames of a meeting of the business circles of Moscow and the Republic of Belarus in the building of Moscow government a presentation of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" was held. On December, 21 2005 negotiations with the management board of the Russian agency of small and medium size business support were conducted. 28.12.2005 On the territory of the Northern industrial centre "Grandichi" – part of FEZ "Grodnoinvest" – new productive and administrative facilities of the joint Belarusian-Swedish limited company "Elefant & Co" were commissioned December 2005.   The enterprise’s new buildings are equipped with modern machinery. They are situated on the territory with transport and engineering infrastructure built by the administration of the free economic zone at the expanse of the state capital investments. On this territory a new production of another "Grodnoinvest" resident – the joint Belarusian-Polish limited company "Queenfood" – will have been commissioned by the end of the year. 28.12.2005 The International Construction Fair "Budma-2006" will take place in Poznan (the Republic of Poland) January 23-27, 2006.   The administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” representatives as well as resident-enterprises have been invited to participate in the Fair. The Fair’s main exhibits will be construction and insulation materials, chemistry, paving, glass, windows, profile systems and software. 30.12.2005 The administration of free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” registered its 29th resident on December 29, 2005. It is the public corporation “Grodno Building Materials Plant” which will realize the investment project “Reconstruction of cellular concrete production”.   At present the administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest” and its foreign partners as well as Belarusian managing subjects are working over new investment projects planned to be realized in 2006.
