10.10.2005 In the course of the 7th Inter-branch Fair “Euroregion “Neman” – 2005” there was held a presentation of the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”.   Diplomatic corps representatives accredited in the Republic of Belarus and the Fair participants acquainted with the investment climate in the zone and also with the experience of the operating resident-enterprises. 10.10.2005 In the framework of the National Exposition “Belarus-Expo 2005” there was held a presentation of the FEZ “Grodnoinvest” October 6, 2005.   There were signed resolution protocols with those Lithuanian businessmen who showed interest in their projects’ realization in the FEZ “Grodnoinvest”. 10.10.2005 The Belarusian National Bank representatives and the FEZ administration of “Grodnoinvest” came on for a visit to the city of Vainhaim (Germany) October 4-6, 2005.   During the visit there were discussed issues on a belarusian-german project on industrial sturgeon breeding with the participation of the firm “United Food Technologies”. 10.10.2005 When in Grodno, October 13, 2005, the delegation of Himkinskij region of Moscow province will visit the free economic zone “Grodnoinvest”.   The guests from the Russian Federation will get acquainted with the experience and legal conditions of management of the FEZ residents. They will also discuss a possibility of the Russian capital participation in the investment activity in the FEZ. 27.10.2005 During the stay in Grodno region the delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Aldamzharov G.K.   will visit free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” October 27, 2005. The delegation will get acquainted with the activity of FEZ residents. Besides, there will be discussed issues of Kazakhstan enterprises’ participation in FEZ investment activity. 27.10.2005 The head of the German company “FFK environment GmbH” Mr. Frederic Kohan will visit free economic zone “Grodnoinvest” November 8-11, 2005.   In the course of the visit there will be discussed issues of the realization of the project on building in FEZ an enterprise on domestic waste processing. 27.10.2005 Representatives of the foreign business and a FEZ resident “Sipa-Invest” (Italy) will arrive in Grodno October 26, 2005   to discuss practical issues of the realization of the investment project on thermo-kinetic heaters. 27.10.2005 In the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus # 262 of June 9, 2005 “About some issues of Belarusian free economic zones activity” ...   there was drawn up and submitted the President’s draft Decree “About the ratification of the provision on free customs zones”. Taking into account Belarusian FEZ functioning experience, in the draft Decree there were depicted the issues of FCZ creation and norms application practice on realization of free customs zone regime.
